Here's my custom sub box and 4 channel amp. There's a mono amp under the passenger seat for the sub. Also the appropriate way to light up a subwoofer: 3mm LEDs

And once you have blue leds for your sub... You might as well have blue LEDs for everything else. I recently changed the gauge cluster LEDs to some newer wider angle types and there's no more hot spots. I should take a new picture.

Slightly obstructs the view, but has a refreshing clean scent!

Well since you asked soo nicely ... I did almost everything myself except wiring the gauges, welding sheet metal for the rusted areas & wiring the stereo into the dash. Oh ... and a friend put in the tuffy console. Pics are not in chronological order. Apart from stock, my XJ has had 3 interior color changes (and counting) ...

Way back when my interior was red. White face gauges, pinstripes, JY cupholder, Husky floor liners

It was a different color after that:

Tuffy center console expander / lockbox:

with cupholders ...

cubby sub:

JY cupholder

Interior color change (it's "Wine" not pink!): seat covers, plus I re-upholstered the visors & OHC to match. Headliner with integrated soundbar is also "new" from an '00 XJ, but it started sagging the same day I put it in.

ghetto rigged third brake light ('92 didn't have 1 stock) and my huge Craigslist ABS plastic box that holds most of my junk

still have white face gauges, different color interior, same XJ. Switches for my lights & electric locker, and to the right, another JY cupholder

flooded the XJ so had to rip apart the interior: this was very traumatic for me ...

after rust repair, new plugs & painting:

screw-in marine plugs ...

1/2 inch Neoprene for padding: (this is after using factory padding as a template for cutting it. This is the front)

trunk with padding installed ... note the beefy tiedown rings

comparison. The hooks I used were from an Isuzu (you never knew stock was that flimsy, didja?)

Well, that's most of it. Didn't mean to be a picture ***** ...

or maybe I did ...

Thanks! It was a bit of a PITA and the material didnt want to stretch around the rear speaker pods but overall I think it came out pretty good.
