Not so much a mod but an improvement, this headliner is so much better. Also added LED lights to the front dome and map lights.

Over a year since the last update... I got a Orvis edition tire cover for my spare tire. Last fall I attempted to swap in LEDs in my overhead console/rear cargo dome.(need to post a picture). Results weren't the greatest in that swap. Also replaced the foot well lights with Walmart LED strips. A few months ago I replaced my old stock speakers with Polk Audio speakers.

Thinking about ripping out my headliner if I can use my buddy's garage.
Anyone else have a new interior mod??

I bought some metal shelving from Lowe's and made a rear window rack to hold some stuff out of the way. Total cost was about $4.

Cool stuff guys. How is that metal shelving secured in place? I been wanting to do something similar for awhile. I just ripped my entire headliner out. I put the rest of the entire back to gather and gave it a needed cleaning.

First thing I did was attach four quick fist clamps to the liftgate to hold my shovel and axe, next I yanked the the headliner out cleaned the fabric and crap underneath off the insulation then sprayed it with black Rustoleum and put it back in, just installed a new Pioneer head unit and Cobra LX 29 cb which I ran to a auxiliary speaker that I attached to the ceiling just behind the light so I could hear my cb over the tires and radio, oh and of course my grenade shifter

I attached the shelving with wire looms. The metal ones with a rubber pice on the inside. I just cut the shelving and took a torch and bent the ends 90 degrees. I can post a better pic if you'd like.

Oh and that grenade shifter is sick!

The aux speaker is a must. Mine is loud enough so I can hear it over my radio while wheelin.

Thanks, I been wondering what those wire looms were. Now I need to find the supplies and do it too. By the way, I think there is a write up on this site for the grenade shifter. I actually have a grenade, but that is another project lol.

Don't know how it got all scuffed in the middle, but I couldn't even see that until i took a picture with the flash on. I would never have known that was there without taking a picture.

$40 well spent.

Not necessarily better, but relocating front speakers to driver and passenger kick-panels is another option. Custom fit panels are available.
