Wilson 1000 mag mount on the roof, without a good antenna all the power in the world wont help the transmit range. I know everyone likes the looks of the fiberglass antennas ie; firesticks, but they suck for range and where the offroad community likes to mount them they are extreamly directional.......
Rear speaker bar with Rockford Fosgates. Sounds good so far, I think I will install a small sub in the rear cargo area pasanger side cubby near my xforce.

Found the green light switch at napa and put it inline with the power wire that comes directly from the battery. The lighted switch also helps remind me to turn it off. Much more conveniant than pulling over to turn on the amp.
you'll want to rethink that one. CB Linear amplifiers are illegal to use/possess in the US. Punishable by fines up to $10000 or $500 a day if you're caught.

Got the switch plate in and mounted (with only 1 out of 5 switches at the moment) to check the fit. I like it. It'll look better w the rest of the switches in it. lol

This looks GREAT. Just what I imagined when I was planning mine. Unfortunately after I spent last winter driving around at -50 I realized exactly how much heat I am used to getting out of that vent. I really need it. So looks like I will be doing switches in the 'clock' panel area instead.

Or I may cover up the small cubby under the ashtray like this one.

Did you have to cut anything in the doors to make them fit
