Yes it is. It's still hard on a vehicle. Things kind of get set in place, oil over long enough time can be pressed so far out of bearings that the metal almost welds together, and the first movement shreds bearings. Seals dry out. Fluids turn to gum and plug things up.
No, you don't have weeds growing up, and rust isn't nearly as big an issue, but that much sitting is still hard on a vehicle.
it seems like a good deal the only thing if its just been sitting there for that long who knows what will happen when you start driving it and week later something happens. So I guess it was a good idea that you didnt take it. You might have been putting a lot more money into then you think you would of.
