look at the hood in the pix, either one side of the hood is latched without the other, or the whole front end is warped!

just my 2 cents, find another cherokee that doesnt need a new engine, but still needs work, stupid work would be nice, like torn up rotten carpet and drooping headliner, you could just rhino line the floor and rip out headliner! BAM

Looks like the hood isnt latched on the one side, bumper doesnt appear too much out of shape. Neither endcap is pushed to the flare.

This being in the Pocono's i'd check for rusted floors, PA uses alot of salt on the roads. Floors are a well known spot to rust.

If it's in decent shape and only needs some minor floor patching i'd consider it for 3-400. You could find a motor for 2-400 on average around here. There will be no doubt other things it'll need to be dependable.

If it has issues with the floor i would surely try to get it cheap saying you want it for parts. But you need a title to dispose of the body later...

I doubt he'd take 200 though, unless his parents really want it gone or live in an HOA which is possible.

Just my 2 cents-look it over good. Like what was posted about the hood & bumper. And look under it good for rust or rot. I think it's harder to find a clean, straight XJ without rust-especially in the north-east. Plus, it's already lifted! I'd offer $400. Motors are not that hard to find.Mid 90's Wrecked or rotted Wranglers are a good source. The ad did say his parents wanted it gone

I pry wouldnt buy it, after hearing that. Sounds liek it either wasnt taken care of, or the kid beat the hell out of it. The trans is pry shot, or on its way out too form the sound of it. Not to mention the hit on the bumper...
