I am going to look at a 1995 Cherokee 4X4 105K that has a Ford 8.8 rear end and a Dana 30 front axle. It has ARB front and rear lockers. I am not familiar with this set up and would like to get advice about the reliability and practical aspects of this set up? Anything I should look for and inspect? Thanks for any advice. Sandyman
If the dude that put it together has all of his own teeth that's probably a big plus right there. Other than that Caveat emptor.

I'd look it over very carefully to make sure it's not a hack job.
Ask for receipts and documentation. Without those the upgrades are worth very little. Find out if he did the work or where it was done. Take it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection, preferably a 4x4 shop. It is always worth a couple of bucks to get it on a lift and check it out. If you are not comfortable with the vehicle and the price...walk away. There are more fish in the sea. Good Luck!
