Default Should I buy a $350 Comanche

I have been looking to pick up a Comanche and I have found one somewhat close by for $350. It is a 1990, 4x4, short bed, 4.0, automatic. Apparently the body is rusty and it runs rough. The guy says it starts hard and runs really rich. What are things to look out for on the comanches besides these problems? I have a 99 Cherokee that I am very familiar with but I do not know much about the older models.

I WISH I could find a 4x4 4.0L short bed Comanche around here for $350, but they are few and far between. And anything cheap is a 2wd 4 banger. BUY IT.

Buy buy buy. As far as not being familiar with MJ's its practically a carbon copy of an xj with a bed.

As far as the rough running, keep it simple first. Basic tune up and some sea foam in the tank. Then check fuel pressure at the rail. Make sure the battery tests good under load. Check throttle body and such.

My plans were to drop a chevy v-8 in it and then major cutting on the fenderwells. Id like to keep it as low as possible and still fit 33's. Then I'd use it as a tow rig for my little 16' bass boat. And if I get bored then sell it to one of you guys for whatever I have on it lol.

1990 is the last year of the RENIX. The first thing to look for is vacuum leaks then the O2 sensor-go from there.

I paid $250 for my rust free 89
