Repairs done since purchase: Pretty much all light grounds and electrical stuff, all the windows and door locks and cylinders(some power locks still dont work like the hatch), heater motor/switch, new center console, new u-joints all the way around, new hubs, ball joints, drag link, rotors, brakes, full tune ups, new rad hoses, valve cover gasket, manifold gasket and exhaust ring, new starter, new battery and terminals, thats all I can think of for now.

Why did you originally buy your XJ? I needed a car, it was cheap and drove, I fell in love immediately.
Would you buy another XJ if the opportunity came up? Yes, eventually I'd like to get a 97'+ for the newer design but I plan on keeping this one til its death.

Why did you originally buy your XJ? always had a jeep in the family my dad has a cj2a, we share a cj5, and family friends had 3 xj's and went wheeling and i always wanted to join them and one day their aunt was selling one and my dad and i bought it.
Would you buy another XJ if the opportunity came up? im actually looking to buy another 2 door this spring or summer. i want to swap everything on mine over and get a fresh rust free( finding rust all over even on celling) start with a lot more upgrades.

Why did you originally buy your XJ? Needed a car for college, a first car for me to own. Didnt have a lot of money, needed something dependable, wanted a truck. Couldnt find a truck in my price range. My dad found a two door cheroee, and he has a friend who swears by them. Short story shorter, I now own a two door cherokee.
Would you buy another XJ if the opportunity came up? Currently? No. If the money was right, I would ****** an mj right now. But at the moment Im waiting for my nieghbor to sell his garaged Cherokee SJ. In the future I might pick up another cherokee, if this one fails me, but my first choice is an mj, because I still want and actually need a truck.
