And I and others stand by this. You can have a great time off roading even if you are not locked. IF the crazies on here would not have blown everything out of proportion there would not have been a locked thread.

Honestly I would love to have mechanical lockers. For me I think this would be great. But I just can't afford it right now, and its way down on the list because lockers are NOT the reason I can't go some places. Its that the tougher trails around here mainly require some form of body damage. And I am not wanting to do that. My jeep is a daily driver. And as I stated in my thread this is for daily drivers. NOT full on trail rigs.

If you are worried about body damage I'm guessing you do not have any armor.

Get some rocker and gutter slides and quarter guards with built in tail light boxes and you'll have less to fret about.

Just trying to add some advise.

Wow, this thread really just needs to die. I'm so tempted to lock this ridiculous thing.

I have got rock sliders. That was one of the first things i did.

The door amd window area has been the main concern. As you can see from one of our rides.

Not my jeep, just one in the group.

I asked a while back?

Besides, it will never be as successful as "what stickers are you rocking" or " what not to say to an xj owner"

Go figure? LOL

Did you know that in a very early draft of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones carried brass knuckles instead of a bullwhip?
