Default Shock length

So I purchased a 3" rough country lift kit with add a leafs and 3" coils. The kit says it should lift it 3" in the front and 2" in the back. I am trying to get to 4" so I will probably buy shackles and spacers. Will my shocks that came in the kit be long enough to accommodate what I want or should I upgrade? I looked up the shocks separately and they are made for 2-4" of lift. So would the shackles and spacers be pushing the limits of the shocks or will they be fine?

Best bet is to flex out and measure. Shocks have extended and collapsed lengths so you will be able to compare and get what matches best.

You're welcome! Jeeps can be so different. Hence the 2-4" range. Proper bump stops will maker a big difference too. You can run a shock thats too long, as long as your bump stops prevent over collapsing.
