Default Shift Linkage

I just installed a transfer case drop kit on my 98 lifted xj. Has anyone fabricated a bracket for the shift linkage drop or done any other mods to make the linkage work as normal? Thanks

Wrong section. What case do you have? How much drop do you have? I have an xj with a 231 and one with a 242, both have a 1" drop and shift just fine.

Did you buy the kit to drop your transfer case or did you make it? Just curious. Most drop kits are an inch and I've never heard of anyone needing to modify the linkage. The linkage that lead foot makes is really nice though from all I have read.

When you say stock case, I can think of several different ones it could possibly be. What are the possible positions for the shifter. Also how much lift are you running, whats your pinion angle look like?
