I recently put 2" rough country shackles on my xj. They are sweet! It was suppose to give me 2 inchs of rear lift. I know that i got atleast 3 inchs out of them. My whole xj looks alot higher and plus i've got clearence for 33s baby!!!!! So i say hells yes to shackles!!!!

and because they are probably standing straight up when to function proper;y they should be at a 30-45 degree angle
