They are supposed to help eliminate leaf binding, and I think they would work great!! Allows the leaf to twist, killer design!!

these shackles will concentrate stress to the front leaf bushings and twist the armonic steel leaf as hell.

I can see that happening but I've also seen the front eye bushing in the leafs replaced with "super-Flex" joints...
