Ok so i have an 88 two door laredo its sitting on a crappy 4.5 " lift with springs and spacers and sock arms a disco 30 and a 35 rear with 307 gears and 31" tires and a ba10/5 ive been dealing with lil renix issues here and there and im kinda done. Question is should i keep trying to polish this turd or move it down the road and get something with better equipment to start from ?

 

just because it's a renix doesn't mean a newer HO will have less problems. the only thing that sucks for you is the transmission. personally that would be the only reason i would get rid of it. maybe a fresh start would be nice though. find another two door 5-speed and 8.25 rear and go from there.

 

Thats kinda what i want i love my two door but its just not able to keep up and it has more issues than i can fix at a time i fix one thing a new issue comes up. I think i will sell it

 

If any one has any leads on a 2 door xj with a 5 speed thats newer with a 8.25 in the san diego area let me know please
