A little bit misleading on some of the information. The post states the Rough Country 6.5 inch lift gives 34x12.50 tire clearance. The Rough Country Web site (and from my own experience), only gives you room for 33x12.50. The only way to fit 34 inch tires would be with trimming. The recommended size never includes trimming.

I went to the same source and it states that "35" tires require minor fender trimming to clear." and that the recommended size is the 33. So what i gather from that would be that a 34 might rub on sharp turns or during flexing. I'm sure not all the info is accurate but its a good starting place none the less.

Certainly. Although my tires were rubbing at 33, so I had to buzz off some of the plastic. Add another inch and I'm sure the trimming would be more severe.

It's a good write up, but an important piece of information nonetheless.

I wanna go with a 3" rustys lift and make it as capable from that. How would I get as much flex as desired from that? First jeep I have owned still learning. Found a good low cog thread I am reading.

To get good flex, trim your fenders down and run a long arm kit.
