Seafoam Spray
Just heard of Seafoam Spray, and how some people will swear by it. Watched a video on the company's website and saw that it can be sprayed into the throttle body while the engine is running and it will improve idle and throttle response. Any thoughts on this?? Could doing this result in any problems or issues with my '94 Cherokee with 239,xxx miles on it?

Did you just pour it into the gas tank and do that method, or spray it right into the throttle body??

I put half a can of seafoam in my fuel tank and the rest through the brake booster line . . cant say it made any difference on my jeep but the ridiculous amounts of white smoke made it worth while lol

We poured it in my buddies Yota that was barely running and it has been running like a champ ever since. This was well over a year ago.
We gave it a little gas and poured it in slowly, it sounded like it wanted to die and smoked like crazy but it worked well.

Alright, thanks guys. I think I'm gonna run half a can of the "Seafoam Spray" Through my throttle body like the website instructs, hopefully stabilize my idle and improve response

i put seafoam in my tank and my throttle body and a splash into my oil, after all the seafoam burnt through and cleaned out my motor,it ran alot better and now i have better throttle response and better mpg,but dont pu that much in ur oil, with that many miles on it,it might clean the motor to good(im not kiddin),but in the tak and throttle body is a good idea

yep half the can went into the tank the other half went directly down the TB while givin it a small amount of gas it tried to die but just slowly add the seafoam. since its lquid going into the TB it makes it want to die
the white smoke was totally worth the 10 bucks i paid and so far it seems to just start up better but with a dead weak dying battery its hard to tell for sure
as for mpg's im getting a full tank tomorrow and ill see if it improves any

Yeah, I'm not even gonna mess with putting any additives straight into the engine oil. I'm just gonna run the half a can through the TB.
