We just ran Seafoam in 3 trucks here at work. We put half a can in through the booster hose on the two 02 S 10 4cyls and half in the gas.
I put 1/2 can right in the t body on my 93 4.0 and half in the gas tank. The response we all have was alot of smoke, the 2 S 10's have about 150000 and my 4.0 has 232000 and it seems to smooth out the motor and have better gas pedal response on all the trucks I also fixed another vacume line that was leaking that was causing my heater selector to not change settings
That made me happy. I will see how or if my mpg changes the last tank I got 16.8mpg with putting on 248 miles and about 40 miles of 4wd driving.

I have a neighbor who is a certified Ford mechanic at the dealership in town. He is car crazy and has a Cobra etc. He's a big Seafoam user and I always laugh when I see white smoke filling the neighborhood early in the morning when he does it.
One morning he had to take the engine apart for some supercharger work he was doing for it and I stopped over to see it apart. I'm sold on Seafoam, lock, stock, and barrel. The inside of the intake and the valves were perfect, it was as if they were brand new and had no black marks whatsoever.
Chris Seafoams more often than whats considered normal and he tells me that is better that way. Like I say, if you guys saw what I saw you would freak out at how perfect the insides were.
I will also add that he bought his vehicles brand new with no miles and has used Seafoam from the very start.

interesting testimonials about seafoam on this thread. i will be trying it out on my XJ after i change my rear brakes. i'm due for a CA smog check soon, so anything that will prevent my XJ from being a polluter will definitely help.

i use seafoam in everything i use throu8gh the brake boost line and in the tank i do the engine every 300 miles to keep it clean i average 17 mpg with 33's but i do have an injector swap and 2 1/2 inch exaust i use a caniaster theat i pour the seafoam into and hook to the line that way it gets a constant amount and wont cause the engine to stall

its gonna be a rubber hose that comes from the brake booster (the big cylinder thing that is on the right side looking in the engine bay, on the fire wall) to the intake manifold. the line itself if only about a foot long. but you can't miss the brake booster

I think I'm going to buy a can and do 1/3 in the oil, 1/33 in the tank and the last 1/3 in the brake booster...
I need to change my oil in 200 miles so I will just change it sooner after doing this.
*******************EDIT*******************
After reading this I just bought a can..
16oz can
2/3 in a almost half full tank and 1/3 in my oil
Lets see if I notice anything..

thats my worry, thus why I only put a little in the oil..
I have NO PROBLEM with it in the gas or in the intake track.. but in the oil, this is new to me.. I admit I am worried too.
