is this a Scat crank ?
I would find a casting number on it and talk to http://www.scatcrankshafts.com/

You would think if they had installed a Scat crank the rods and pistons would be upgraded also IDK. I used some Scat rotating assy's years ago then switched to Eagle then Crower, I have no ides what is available for a 4.0 engine.

Well to run a stroker you have to space the stud girdle up .200 roughly to clear rods. It appears to be spaced up from last picture. Also you can use stock rods from a 4.0 which require a shorter piston pin height. Also know as a long rod stroker. Or you can use 4.2 rods for short rod motor

No Scat made an excellent very lightweight 355 rotating assy. that I used in several dirt track cars that were limited in ci., very fast revving engines. That class pumped the engine to check for ci. at the end of every race to the top 5 places so no cheating there
