Default Sad day...

Well, I kept getting a clunking noise in the rear half of my jeep (lifted locked and all that good stuff..) anyway, I thought maybe a shock or something busted...

NOPE!!!!

My frame rail is twisted, and rusted, and cracked in half....

So now, because I have no cash saved up, I get to share a car with my wife for a while, and try and sell the Jeep, or part it out..

~moment of silence~

Find a new body and swap all the parts over?
And then sell/scrap what you don't need.

Pics of damage? It's only metal. Break out some 3/16 plate and a welder and go to town.

pretty much everything, however I might have a deal worked out already on the battery, wheels and tires, and front axle, so if that deal works out i will have everything but that.

I did post in the great lakes section

Depending on how bad it was, I'd worry about the structural integrity.

if it was that easy I would. I just repaired the floors in this a year ago, and the floors are already rusting out. I am not going to repair the "frame" just to have to do it again in a year or less. I am done with this jeep, rust has gotten the best of it.

I don't know if it's possible to make the structural integrity worse than it is stock. People replace entire frame rails from the rear doors back. Fixing a small area should be a piece of cake.
