rustys offroad tow hooks

Default rustys offroad tow hooks

For 79$ rustys has front tow hooks to mount on my xj. I have the factory front bumper and plastics still. Will i have to modify them to mount the hooks

On the 97 up if your XJ didn't come with tow hooks you will have to cut the plastic cover where they are supposed to come through the bumper. I don't know about the 96 and down. I would personally recommend the Iron Rock Offroad Tow Hook Mount (http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...egory_Code=PFX), it has not failed me yet and pulled a contractor's F-450 panel truck out of light mud.

Mine is a 2000 so ok ill have to cut i will check them hooks out too

I installed that same kit without cutting anything with my factory bumper. The holes are already there, but the piece of plastic you're supposed to cut won't get in the way if you want to leave it alone. It's mostly for cosmetics.

My apologies, for some reason I remember the forward jutting part of the end cap being solid.
