Default Rusty rocker fixes?

I need new backing plates and new rocker panels, anybody have good luck with quadra tech panels or is there somewhere cheaper? not afraid to do a little trimming to save money. also what are my other options? not looking for them boat slider things though

i would recommend looking in to boat sides.
great way to eliminate the rocker all together
awesome mod for trail riding

i am in the middle of a rocker cut out right now i cut pinch weld and all do to mine being rusted out but my inner rocker and body structer is still good so i am going to attempt to weld in 1/8 inch flat steel plate or 2x4 tube havent decided which is best to do i will post pics when i decide what works best

Alotta guys cut out what is there and weld in a piece of rectangular tube.

It can be done fairly easily and cheaply. And it will last.

what if you have a long arm lift with a cross member that bolts to the pinch weld whats it do anyways just askin if anybody knows???

What LA lift bolts to the pinch weld?

They should bolt to the subframe.

Iv fiber glassed mine. Prob gona have to throw in a piece of box tubing soon..

the 3 piece cross member bolts to the pinch welds on a 5.5 in rubicon express lift
