Rust remover.
This has probably been asked a thousand times over. Did a search for it "Rust", "Rust stripper". Came up with rim work instead.
Anyways, just bough a 98 Cherokee. The undercarriage has some surface rust. After a thorough inspection, it doesn't seem to have eaten through anything or caused any structural damage. Just your typical Northeast surface rust.
I'll probably take a wire brush to the larger areas first. However I am looking for a spray (such as Rustoleum) to take off the rest in the hard to get areas. Any recommendations on these rust strippers? Will Rustoleum work? And how should I go about doing the job?
Also I'm looking for a good sealer. I was raised putting used motor oil into a squirtgun. Any suggestions? Something that can seep into joints and cracks.
