Well, at least it lived a long life. I know all about PA's salty roads. I live in York. I'm battling some rust on my Jeep as well, and it's garaged until it is fixed and as rust-proofed as possible. You going to part it?

yeah that thing is toast. Not much can stand up to that liquid salt **** they spray instead of rock salt. Those leaf springs don't look too happy either.

Don't drive that, it's going to fall apart.
Good news is your transmission is aluminum lol. Shouldn't be tooooo hard to find a good body with a dead drivetrain.

One rail completely rusted through and separated from the floor pan just before the spring hanger and the other one badly rusted and cracked is a bad combination. One good bump and you might lose the whole rear end.
As others have said the best option would be to swap the drivetrain. If your Cousin only wants to drive it for a little while (a year or two max) and your state doesn't have inspection you could probably reinforce it good enough with a welder and some plate/angle iron to hold it together for a while but driving it as is, is a danger to the people in it and everyone else on the road.
