Anyone thought about drawing power from the factory fuse box for accessories? I'm thinking about doing this for my CB and if it can work for some offroad lights. I know that in my 98 there's three or four empty spots, plus the circuits that were never used from the factory for certain options like the ABS motor.
It's sitting there so why not use them?

Nothing wrong with that. Don't overdraw the power that would normally be drawn through a fuse there. Don't just shove cables down in the slots like my cousin does. Just asking for a fire.

In a way that's what those empty spaces are for.. That's where the options that didn't come with your Jeep would get there power from. Your just using them for a different option. Just put a fuse or if applicable a relay between the added accessory and the fuse box.
