I got the 3.5 kit with add a leaf. The leafs did not last long. But i wheeled it hard. Are you going to wheel it or just drive it on the street mainly?

Default RE super ride

I just put the RE3.5 on my 2000 XJ. Love It. I also recommend the full leaf assemblies. From what I understand.....adding a layer of leaf spring is a hassle and without the factory spring build-up this new add on will leave a point of gap for movement and noise. I went for the standard RE shocks. About $99 each. I just wanted a complete system. The only complaint I have was the line-up pin on the leafs didn't seat easily in the axle sockets. So far the ride is nice.....not too firm, not too soft.
