I love this jeep.
However the fuel it chews cannot be right. I need help tp reign in the problem. To sell it just because of this problem would be wrong. Has anyone out there got a solution to a 95 4 lite auto that is using 1 litre of good petrol every 6.5 klms..............help Rod

Just multiply by 2.35:
So 6.5 (klm) x 2.35 (conversion factor) = 14.75 miles per gallon
Just got my Cherokee so I can't really help you much but I do a lot of searching here and there is a ton of information here for you to answer that.

I'd be happy with that MPG also. Things I've tried that have made very little difference (2-3 MPG).
New Magna flow cat
tune up
O2 sensor
thermostat
cost of parts vs added MPG not the greatest investment
things I've noticed that make the biggest difference are driving habits and use of 4WD

I have not much to offer, I have found that if I keep the Jeep at 1 click before 75 mph I get MUCH better mileage when rolling on the freeway.
Now I run 29.5's and I know I'm not going 74 mph when it says I am.
So I'll end this useless reply saying .... slow down.
The Jeep is to look good and go where I shouldn't. Nothing about it is for speed.
