Has anyone removed their roof rails, (Just the rails, not the tracks they slide on) and noticed any difference?

Is there less wind noise without them?

Is there any improvement in MPG, even if it's only a half a mile per gallon?

 

Mine are gone.

 

I'm sorry to hear that, did they suffer long or was it all of a sudden?

 

Had them off but put them back on because i didn't notice any difference in noise or mpg

 

Yea I took mine off today, went driving and didn't notice and difference in wind noise

 

No difference in wind noise or gas mileage on mine or my buddy's XJ. Took mine completely off today, still no difference.
