im goin to finaly build my light bar this week im putting 2 kc daylighters and a cb antenna up there i want to mount it to the rails on the roof a few qusestions will this be strong enough , whats the best way to hide wires and my antenna is magentic if i pull the magnet out will it afect performce of the cb

 

thats how i have mine mounted and it feels really sturdy. i just used some small u bolts to hold it on. i have had a 33 with a rim on it and it did not seem to affect it at all.

 

unless it is a really stubby antenna i wouldn't put it up there

 

let me know how hiding the wires goes, mounting to the roof rack is a great idea.

 

I've had a full set of 33"tires & wheels on mine & tools ect. Roof gutters are plenty strong.
