Rocky Road Outfitters CAD
Well, I decided I didn't like the ride of the RE 3.5" SR in the front. After alot of research, I am attributing this to the angle of the lower control arm angle. It is just too steep. So, I rolled the dice and purchased a RRO CAD. It looked beefy and well built (and it is), I like it's overall design over their competitors versions and it meets my needs and expectations. Getting ready to install them today so we'll see how it goes. I'm going to take a couple pix (something I rarely do) and try to put a few miles on it just to get a feel for it.

Ok, just finished installation. Took about 3 hrs. Mostly due to interruptions/life.
Too tired and hungry to post much this evening but I did take it for a short drive after install and the difference in ride is night & day. I am happy with my purchase of this product and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others who may be considering CAD's.
Here is 1 pic from before CAD. More to come tomorrow:

Here is a pic of the LCA after installation. Angle is half of what it was before. Much better.
This set-up included a TrueTwo spacer which actually measure out @ 2.25" exactly, so lift is now @ 5.5-ish inches to match the rear. Front brake hoses from a '95 GMC/Chevy 1500 2WD were used to compensate for added height.

Now the only issues left to address are the sway bar and sway bar end links. This set-up obviously isn't going to work on the street and gives me the perfect justification to the wife why I need adjustable UCA/LCA's and some JKS adjustable disco's. Then, the alignment and hopefully I can move on to whatever comes next.
If I had a "do-over" on this phase, I would not purchase the RE6025 again as a kit. I would have only purchased the rear leafs. They're the only original component from the kit that's going to be left when it's all said and done. On the plus side I have learned alot from the research and the work and the parts so it hasn't been a total loss. And, as usual, you folks have been more than helpful and the forum is a great place to learn.

Control arm drop brackets are a great cost-effective way to improve handling.
I run the Rough Country ones and have for 3 years. No problems with those either really.
You'll love the switch to adjustable control arms

All right, just a few miscellaneous pix for show. This particular XJ is more of a hobby now and a labor of love. I'm 5'9" so the one gives a good indication of where it's sitting.
