Default Rocky Road 2" budget lift

Hi everyone
Well I did it,I just bought the 2" Rocky Road complete budget lift kit.
it comes with,
shackles
shock spacers
spacers for front coils.
I have a couple of questions I hope you all can help me with.
1) will this give me the dreaded "death wobble"? I currently do not get it but after reading around in the forums i am a little nervous?
2) any queses as to how much my mileage will go down? this is my daily driver and for now I am going to keep my stock tires until they wear out.
3)the salesman that sold it to me said there is about a 50/50 shot as to weather I would have to install a transfer case spacer. it cost about 50 bucks so it is not to bad, but has anyone else installed this lift? did you need the t-case spacer? how hard is it to install?
4)will my stock tires look bad with this lift? should I wait until I get tires to install? does anybody have pictures of a lift with the stock tire size?
thanks in advance for your input/opinion.

I don't think a 2" will give you death wobble, make sure you align it after lift install. As far as mileage not sure but with more wind drag as well as wind getting under it more I would expect a decrease, however with keeping the stock tires which I assume are street tread may not be to bad. I don't think you'll need a t case drop with a 2" but you won't know for sure until the lift is installed. As far as tires the stock ones will look small but I think probably not silly. Congrats on the lift, it all starts here!

X2 on the frist post. Death wobble usually occures whit larger lifts and larger tires.

You should fill out your profile and tell us what year model you're working on. I put the exact same BB on my 1st XJ and will answer based on my experience (yours may vary).
1 - No.
2 - No.
3 - No.
4 - No. I feel that every Jeep (Wrangler/Cherokee/Grand) should have come stock from the factory about 2 inches taller. It will look like it should have looked all along.

I recently put a 2in lift on my 2000...

Death wobble
Driveline vibes
Shocks blew

It was a mess.

Understand something: you don't get dw from lifting it, you get death wobble from worn out parts. Lifting it just makes it more obvious. Get a professional alignment when you install it. Trust me...

As for the tc spacers, i needed them too. Have it sitting in my garage until i get around to putting it in. It was only like 30 shipped from ebay with aluminum spacers. Expect the bolts to snap!

But once you get everything figured out you'll be so happy. Its worth it.
