Default Rock rails that cover rocker panel-

I know someone posted before about some rock rails that go right over the rocker panel. Anyone have a link? I searched and searched but can't find them. I am wanting to build my own and replace my rusted rocker panels, but am afraid I don't have the time (I still haven't finished my front bumper I started in October!).

If the price is OK I will just order them and be done with it.

Thanks!

Just cut out the stock rocker panels with an angle grinder and stick some 2x4 DOM tubing in there...weld it in and call it a day(I know a bit more time intensive but my point stands)

^^^ this is what im doing with my comanche but with 2x6 so it sticks out aliitle farther to land my exo cage on. i think its a great idea.

do they make 2x4 DOM? or DOM square tubing in general?

all i have ever seen was welded seam square tubing.

Idk? If they don't I'd think some .188 wall welded seam square tube would work great. I suggested 2x4 to him because it won't differ much from stock and its not highly noticable. With mine I'm going to use 2X6 also and top and sides will get bedliner so I have a textured step that goes the whole length of the Jeep, also give high-lift points everywhere

thats .188 wall tube. I'm not dead set on the 2x6 yet, I may buy a small piece of each and do a cardboard mock-up to see which i like better

How much did it run you? I'm assuming something like 12ft would be needed, maybe a little more?

i bought a half stick(12 ft) for $50. it was already cut so i saved $15 bucks on the cut charge at the metal shop i go to.

im not running any tubes to the unibody though so i wont need more than 12 ft. im gonna run tubes inside the cab from rail to rail for my seats to mount to....that will all tie into the internal/external cage im gonna build in april
