Default Rig ideas

Lookin for some ideas for my next rig. Thinking of picking up another xj and chopping the top off from the windshield back and building a cage. Then throwing some bigger axles under it that are wider. any suggestions on the axles?

thats my plan also. I dont want to go full width although Id love a pair of 60's. so probably a waggy 44 and a 9"
5.13's
37's
arb in front with drive slugs. (still have friendly winter manners)
spool in rear
In any thoughts of chopping mine (only if it ever gets rolled and I have an excuse) will be using the cage as a frame and having an interior shop make me a soft top with windows. that way it can be sealed up, open on the sides only, or totally off

Im running 4:88s locked front and rear with chromies and 38's and ive been lucky so far with no breakage.

I also chopped the back of mine off and made it like a pickup with a cage. Its nice for easy access to everything in the back and keeps it cooler inside(if no a/c). But its also a trailer queen.

Get the axles out of a pickup like this...see a lot of xj's that have done the swap.

x2 on what unleashed said. I want something easy to throw in that I can run with stock everything until funds allow me to toss in a bigger motor. Probably 36's unless the 4.0 can handle 37's or bigger?
