Default Retreads. Are they worth it? who has em.

thinking about retreads on my XJ. Looking for 32s or a little smaller. They wont be used all the time only when wheeling. So my question is. Are they worth it? I dont want to pay to much for them maybe like 80 bucks to 100. Any help is appreciated.

Depending on the tread type and rim size you're looking for, low use 32s from JKs are pretty common. I see them regularly on craigslist.4

Also, at first glance, I thought the title was "redheads..."

There is a retread company called Tread Wright. They specialize in off road retreads and have a good reputation. Google them and take a look.

Thanks guys im gonna have to look around. I have seen the company before but i know how prone retreads are to blowouts and i didnt know if they could actually withstand the abuse.

Ive had Guard Dogs for about 2000 miles and really am impressed with them. Nice ride, great when wet. I did get their Kedge Grip and I think it makes a difference. They were $541 to the door for 31s.
