Default Recovery points? (Not your typical ?)

Hey y'all! I'm running low on cash and can't get any recovery points (yet). Where can I wrap a strap? I hear around the frame but I'm not to sure...

I do not recommend doing it, but I have seen people strap up to the front or rear axle. I guess depending on how stuck or how bad a break is may have a decision if this is best for you at the moment. The best thing is getting some recovery points asap. If you play at all, you never know when you or someone else will need them.

There is no frame to wrap it around. XJ's are unit-body which means the frame and body are one. You could wrap it around the axle but I wouldn't do that. Get proper points before you wheel or don't do anything to get stuck!

In a bind the axle works not recommended not because of damage but it just sucks. If you have a tow package it works well. Put the loop of the strap in and secure with a pin.

I have wraped a strap around the bumber brackets a few times and have had no problems but without recovery points you just need to go slow and take your time or things will go very bad, very quick.
