You can go buy some tow hooks.. tons of different people sell them, I know rusty's for sure does.. you could also fab some up, depending on your skillset.. or find an after market bumper that ties into the unibody with tow points on it

just to be sure, you know you can't just bolt on a couple of hooks, you must use a factory style tow hook bracket like this...

I like my front receiver. I got it for the same reason, no front pull points.

Unless your trim package came with them or you added the factory options XJ's didn't come with front or rear recovery points. Don't ask me why, even my mom's Camry has front and rear hoops.

Bumper with unibody tie in brackets is my fav, it was a long drag out decision but I did need a new bumper and recovery points up front, I did feel Iike welding so I gt the Jcr DIY with the tie in brackets LOVE it.

those aren't recovery points in the same sense as we would use offroad.

yeah, sort of, they are reinforced for roadside recovery, but shipping too as they're quite strong.
every car has them one sort or another. they are oval t-hook slots.
they are just easier to see on a camry as they're right under the front and rear bumpers and stick down.

I think the front rear factory tug hoops are all an import legislated requirement.
That way Caged can hook up and maintain the roadways clear of all the broken down rice burners. Else the rest of the XJ's would use the abandoned hulks for flex and crush practice.

Hey josh, did the unibody tie in brackets require any drilling or modification or do they bolt right on?

I have the same bumper with unibody tie in, I am fairly sure they are just bolt on(some holes may need to be slightly enlarged I think at most)

I got my tow hooks off of a old wagoneer at the junkyard.. Cost me $10 total for the pair... I'd say look for some factory hooks at the junkyard

My front recovery point :
It's a Rigidco Fwb2K Bumper with Dirtbound Hoop kit
The bumper has sandwich plates on the front crossmember that is held on by 8 grade 8 bolts and the frame plates are held on by 9 grade 8 bolts on each side, so a total of 26 bolts it's not going anywhere .
