Alright iv owned about 6 cherokees now and i just got me a 91 Jeep Cherokee Sport with a 98 4.0 motor its also a 5 speed i took it tonight to GrudgeWars to see what it would run at the drag strip my first pass i dumped in 1st and had rear wheel hopp from hell im just curious as to why it did that and how can i fix it? AND yes i do trail ride my jeep cherokee and i race it lmfao its just a beater jeep... but anyway i had to let off the gas so itd stop and then hit the gas again and shift.. my 2nd run i pulled up to the line and rev dropped it and it snapped the rear driveshaft.. also how can i prevent that?? ima also throw out there i know that these arent race cars lol... but my first pass i managed to bust out a 17 sec flat in quarter mile having to let out of the gas for a good time so itd stop also had a problem slamin it into gears

 

Good shocks, good springs, and traction bars would not hurt at all.
