does anyone know if u have to pull the tranny on a 88 comanchee to replace the rear main i havent ever replaced or seen it done just know its got to be done

Nope just drop the pan and take off the rear main cap. Getting the axle to droop enough is the fun part. I did it with 4.5" and it was still a ***** getting it out.
