Default Rear and Front Bumper stops

Well i know people come up with some good ideas often so i would like to show people my bump stop ideas, i did my rear in the past few days and next week im pulling out the front to do those also so for right now ill post the rear and update the front next week

cut out some pieces with the plasma cutter

also for the front i already mounted my shocks to the desired measurements i need but now i just need to cut and extend my front bumpstops about 3-3 1/2" which ill show some pics of when i do it

Looks good. If u wanted more lift u can always cut n weld alittle more. For my front bump stops I have a hockey puck then two rubber bump stops but for the rear where the u bolts go through the metal plate my metal plate is extended out and has pads on it that go up and hit the bump stops on the frame. Tomorrow if not raining il post some pics.

Are you planning on putting any kind of rubber or something soft on it? Seems like it would hit really hard and eventually dent or bend the unit body.

Naw I think the current bump stops on the rear are pretty soft since its rubber but either way I usually don't hit it hard

The factory ones were rotten on mine and long gone and I forgot they were even there, and you'd be surprised how hard you can come down on them.

Mine are in perfect condition and maybe I might add some rubber ontop of the stops I made but I wanna see how it performs this way first

Looks pretty good, not the way id go about it but im just afraid to weld on my axle
