Here are some more pics in this thread. Page 2 has some detailed shots of the mounting.. It's enclosed because my batts will go back there along with a big power inverter (you can see the inverter on the side in the pics)to run an air compressor & welder. Tools, parts & an ice chest also go under the panel.. That leaves a deck to put a case of water & other stuff.. After the crash, the spare tire is mounted there.

That's sweet, and a great idea for using more room. I carry tons of tools, MREs, first aid, water, blankets, and bolt cutters at all times so I gotta incorporate something similiar to this if I wanna keep all my survival gear inside lol

Did the pics in that thread help, as far as mounting?

Sort of, I noticed u added plate to the frame underneath and attached your sliders to it. Is that also where the cage goes?

Yes, I built full length frame stiffeners made of 10ga cold rolled steel.. The rocker panel was cut out then 2"x4"x3/16" tube welded in. The 2"x.120" (.120"=1/8") tube comes from the frame stiffener to the slider(2x4), and the cage is welded to that. The hoop the shocks are mounted to, is welded to the side of the frame stiffeners. This can be seen in the pics from page 2 in the above thread..

Gotcha, so these frame stiffeners really get the job done huh? Definitely plan on doing that, looks like theyre pretty easy to install, was their any technique with the rosette holes as far as placement? I know companies sell these stiffeners but I wanna make em myself so I can build my cage etc off of them
