Default RC Longarm or x-series

Hey guys I need some advice.I'm going with a 4.5 RC kit with a SYE w/ cv drive shaft.my question is if I should go long arm or just order my kit right now and go the cheaper rout.I'm new off roading and crawling.I know a lot of people don't like RC but my mind is set with them with my price range.thanks in advance guys! Keep crawl'N!

1.is there really a big difference?

2.what are pro's and con's with both kits?

It depends on what you plan on doing.
Big rocks and big flex = long arms.

Check the prices on Rough Country kits and compare, I found them to be a tad bit less expensive depending on the way you want to go.

Pretty sure all he is asking is if he should get long arms or not...

I personally would advocate the long arms so that if you want to go bigger then you won't have to buy them later then do more work to put them on. But if you're on a budget then I'd prob just go short arms.

Supposedly they changed their joints. Are the new ones any better?

I would highly recommend buying a different brand their joints are horrible. I had to rebuild my joints more than four times in the eight months I had them on my jeep I ended up throwing them out and buying completely different brand set of control arms

what do you mean cheaper rout. rc IS the cheaper rout...
I'd just get the long arms. I mean I guess it cant HURT the ride quality or performance. so might as well

but if you're gonna buy an RC kit I wouldnt bother with a nice expensive SYE and driveshaft combo then.
