yep that was it! its over 100 degrees here in mobile alabama today and after i put the fan clutch on it it's run the coolest it has in a while!

 

well took it for another run today and the temp increased to 220 agaim then to almost 260,but tonight the air was cooled and it stayed at or below 210, so what up? is the air temp makin it go to extreme temps of can my hoses not hold the pressure and they are colapsing? new t-stat maybe? im stumped, oh and all i have is water in the radiator and little to no coolant, could that be my problem?
