Default Rattle can + white/black bedliner.

I'm almost finished with my paint job. All I have left to rattle can, is the front clip (which will be the same color blue as the rest of the jeep), and the bumpers (satin black like the flares). I've seen a bunch of flat rattle can paint jobs, but I haven't seen many in a glossy, unpopular color. I spent about $80 on the blue paint (Krylon Bahama Sea Gloss) and I had some left over. I haven't done the top yet, but it will be white roll on bedliner; made by Grizzly grip. I love the look so far, and I can't wait until I'm finished... I'm putting on my 2" lift this weekend, so I'll have it painted by next weekend.

not that bad at all for rattle can, did you do the door jams as well?

I did not do the door jams. I did my best to protect them while I was painting because my jeep was black before, and I wanted the door jams to stay that way.

Got any up-close shots of the Grizzly grip? Looking to see what kind of texture their liner has.

Looks very nice now dont wait very long to clear coat it if you haven't already done so nice job.

Yours came out superb ...& Gloss is a P.I.T.A. to do with a rattle can.

I haven't done the grizzly grip yet. I ordered their white bedliner for the top, and hopefuly I'll be painting it next week. I'll take a close-up of it then though. The liner I used for the rockers/door bottoms was some rustoleum black. It's not bad, but I like the texture of the Bondo brand bed liner better.

I wasn't planning on shooting any clear. Any particular reason why you'd advise it? I know it protects the paint, but I didn't see any sense in rattle canning clear over an already glossy, rattle can blue. I plan to wax it regularly and hope it lasts. Any first hand advise would be appreciated though.

if you dont clear coat it .. esp on the front grille it will chip very very quickly and easily

Here's a close up of grizzly grip bedliner. This stuff is amazing. I put it on in 2 coats.. First a thin, base coat, then a thick, second coat. I haven't really noticed any difference in inside temperature, but it's definitely not as hot to the touch as the black roof was.

looks nice. I've been thinking about bedlining my roof. It gets dinged up alot from putting my canoe up there.

Looks good. Rattle canning can be a pain in the ***. Your giving me some ideas.
