I'm sure the build sheet would support my idea but being 26 years old, I can't get a build sheet. Either way I'm not complaining.
you can definitely still get a biild sheet for it. Jeep.com you might have to email cutomer service (i used the live chat) and they will send you a link type that into your browser and poof you have your build sheet

I got mine through Jeep. I have a 96 Country. They keep those records forever it seems so you should be able to get it. All they need are the last eight digits of your VIN. I called and the lady I talked with was very nice. They understand their product owners very well and are Jeep people too.

I have the tweeters and overhead console in my 2000 Cherokee Classic. It originally came with factory fog lights, but were removed when we installed the aftermarket bumper. I find it's hard to find body parts in my color (Sienna Pearl Red) and seats in black cloth with a separate head rest. Still looking to add front door panels with pockets in black and factory spare sub enclosure and the windshield visor I believe it was made by Lund tho. I use to have a factory Jeep bug deflector that I pulled out of a junkyard the screwed on behind the headlights until it broke

I remember seeing that when I pulled the original build sheet for mine that it was a little on the unusual side for several things....
It was not a police build, but kind of in-between a police and "other" service vehicle build from the factory.
One that kinda surprised me as I've personally not seen it on another 99... is that mine has a factory LSD.
Found that out when I was doing a lot of servicing back when I first bought her, thought it was strange so I pulled an original build sheet for it...and that's what it came with.

Don't know exactly how rare of an option it is...but it's the first one I've seen...and the Jeep shop that was helping said that in all the XJs they've worked on it was one of the most unusual combinations they had ever seen for a factory build sheet...and they've been in business over 20 years doing nothing but Jeeps.

Trying to remember your build. A D35 with the LSD or an 8.25?
D35 not so much. 8.25 more so. I have seen them, not up close and personal, but they do exist.
Still can't seem to find one local to me though.
Here is something you don't see everyday though.
Technically I believe this to be a Dealer installed option and not a Factory one though.
