WTB: 97+ Tan Interior Parts
I am currently changing interior colors on my '97 4 door and I am looking for both front door panels (in tan) for non power windows or locks. I am also looking for 4 tan crank handles, but that is less important. Thanks!

There is a difference. Saddle being a little more orangy then Camel IMO. Just thought I would let you know.

I did not know that, so thank you! Yeah I am changing from grey to a Black and Tan theme. I already grabbed some parts from a 2000 so I guess I need some camel interior.

You have careful with for sale postings. Craigslist and Ebay to mention a couple. They will tell you that is Tan, Camel, or Saddle. That will fit a '97 to '01. As far as fitment goes they are correct. Color-wise no. Even the grays are different. Misty Gray is '97 and '98. Agate is '99 and up. These are the colors listed in the Jeep parts catalogs I have. I first got a clue when searching on the internet. Then got my hands on all the XJ years parts catalogs. Have actually seen a Saddle interior in a '97 and with even having my Jeep next it to compare the colors could tell it was different like I described above.

I figured it might be hard, but I wanted to try and find manual panels before I have to mess with my door to make the power panels fit. The support for the doors are a little different on them.

I wonder if it is just the year difference then. Because I grabbed parts out of a '00 for my '97 and the armrests are different. Mine has a support bracket attached to the door that fits inside of the armrest and the '00 doesn't fit over that. I just figured that the power window armrest was designed differently overall and I didn't think about it being different for those years.

OK. So you do have the same style that would be in up to '01. I have never seen a manual window '97 to '01 up close and personal (let alone take the door panel off of one) but I have to figure the door panels, whether power or manual windows, would fit. Looking at the shot of the gray one I grabbed online it looks like you would just have the one big screw in the arm rest, the one little screw in the door handle, and am guessing the window crank also helps secure the door panel to the door. Not to mention all the plastic retainers inside the door panel. Maybe a couple shots would help. One of the door without the panel on it and one of the inside of your gray manual door panel. I have some power window door panels lying around to compare and I am sure we could find some shots of doors with the door panel removed (or I will just take mine off) to try to figure this out to help.

I thought about doing that but could not visualize it. All the pieces in a Camel interior that are not Camel are the Agate. To the best of my knowledge. Now you have me rethinking the Camel leather seats. I did not grab them because they were leather. I grabbed them because they were headrest seats. Would prefer cloth. Never been a big fan of leather. Damn you. You could have posted this about a month ago. LOL
Edit: Just noticed the Agate console top. Nice too.

Thanks, I've been wanting to do this with the Camel or the lighter gray from awhile. I thought with the rest of the console having some black peices the center console lid would be a nice touch. Good eye.
Now add to that some black formed rugged Ridge floor mats and would be looking extra sharp
