random intake question

so the map sensor in the renix's is along side the TB, later models hae it going into the intake runners i believe, why did they change this, and do you think modifying a renix in this fashion would give any sort of improvement?

It won't change a thing, all the MAP needs is a manifold vacuum signal, it does not matter where it comes from as long as it is a manifold vacuum source.

Not sure if its true but i came across this somewhere (cant remember where though) that the map sensor tube from the tb to the map on renixs is actually supposed to be a specific size for metered vacuum or something
