Default Radio Code

I guess this is not the first time !! sure there is a thread here as well I need a code for my Radio 2007 Cherokee have all the info can some one help I am in Australia and at this point the dealer has been unable to help! Ther tech sasid code not req But for the 6 stacker it needs a code HELP!! P/# P05064362AA S/# T00AM0277C0266

Hello and Welcome to the forum! Can you remove your radio from the dash? If so, here they put a tag on the back of the radio with the code printed on it or it will be in your owners manual if that is still in the vehicle. Good luck.

It's usually written in the owners manual. Try looking at it?

And thank you both Do not have the manual nothing on the tab that says code And I need a code as it is the message that comes up on the screen Have tried turning ign off then on etc

This is a grand Cherokee right? You said 2007 so it must be. Try posting your question in the Grand Cherokee tech section they might know more than us.

Every radio has a special code addressed to it. Your best bet is to call a dealer In The united states with the numbers you provided above and the vin #

I'm pretty sure the code would not be on the radio itself--since the whole point of the code is that it would be useless if someone took it out of the car.
