So i have a 2001 Sport and the radio wont work, well kind of. when i turn it on, the time (wrong time) will come on the screen for about 2-5 seconds then go away. it will not stay one, the radio/cd wont turn on. its the stock system. i plan on checking the fuses here in a few hours and possibly unhooking the batter for about 10-20 mins if its not the fuses. i dont really want to replace the stereo right now (broke college student) but the small Bluetooth speaker im using as a radio right now is killing me.

any advice is welcomed

 

Pull the radio out and just rewire it, that sounds like a short, or some wire is touchin something that it's not suppose to.

 

I don't really want to dig into my dash to get to the start of the wires. I took the radio out and check the connectors and they seemed fine. Think I'm going to take it to a buddies who's good with radios
