Default R.I.P. new friend

I must say RIP to my jeep. It died January the 31 at about 6:30 pm. I was on the way home from from work when a ford car and I both lost it on ice doing about 20-25 mpg. We hit head on bags popped and thankfully we both walked away. Insurance paid and do do lack of jeep Cherokees in my area I went to a ram for now. I must say it was a good jeep. Still turned over and ran a month later after I was finally allowed to get my stuff out of it.

The WJ was fixable for anyone with even a halfass ability at doing body work. Sorry about your loss though. What year Ram? specs?

Sorry I mean 25 mph.
This happened in Indiana the same day that the big pile up happened on I-70.
Also yes it was fixable but would of needed bags, core support, hood, all brackets on the front of engine, new front suspension mounts all the plastic junk for the front end and maybe more. That's just what I could see wrong.
I got a 2000 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.2 extended cab.

But that sucks man, at least it was an all accident crash. I lost a '00 Durango to a wreck, ended up getting involved with a road rage fight between a Ford F-150 and a Silverado 3500. Rear ended the Chevy. Wasn't as bad as yours, I could've rebuilt this if I wasn't so young at the time. This happened about 3 years ago, I'm 19 now.

I have thought about that. I know where a WJ is in a junkyard that was turned up on it's side/roof HARD. I could buy it for $400-500. Everything is there except the motor. Cut roof off, cage it, convert the front axle to u-joints instead of CVs, drop my spare 4.0 in, cut the fenders, and throw some 33's on it. Locked front, open rear to make the d35 last...

Only thing that sucks is I don't want a trail rig that I cant also drive on the road if i dang well please.

I started to buy it back but then I would have to haul it about three hours to eaither Attica or Haspin, which is not worth it. I did double my money on the jeep with insurance pay off. But my insurance also doubled.
My dad drives a truck to. He drives nights. Luckly he had had the day off for a dr. Ap so he was able to get to me. Who do u drive a truck for?
