OK,so I think I already know the answer but I'll ask anyways. My 99 xj (stock) has developed a squeaking in the front end from what sounds like behind the drivers side wheel when turning a corner. I'm thinking its the u joints since I already know they need replaced but some other input would be great.

If it only sqeaks in turns while on smooth surface, it is definitely a knuckle U-joint going bad. Change both of them out as a set.

Yea,kinda what I thought. Planned on doing them as a set anyways. Just gotta limp it along til I get a few bucks cuz I definitely ain't buying junk. Boondocks thing 4wd and summit aren't too far in either direction from me
