Default Pyramid Speaker Quality?

I know some people dont think that speakers are important in jeeps but id like to get a set for my 98 so I can have something decent for when I move away to college. I havent been able to find any reviews for there speakers so I wanted to know if Pyramid Speakers are any good? I have one free one in my 98 currently but thats it and it dosent sound to bad. Id like to order a set of these, but im not sure if theyd fit with the plastic on it?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Brand-New-6-5-28...CarQ5fSpeakers

Or would these be better?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Brand-New-Pair-6...CarQ5fSpeakers

Id like to order an amp and head unit as well and im most likely going to order the amp from pyramid as well, ive been told that there good amps but I havent herd anything about there speakers? If anyone has any input let me know what you have to say/think.

Heres the Amp:

Also I was going to wire in two small sub boxes in the rear hatch, Im going to order a set of speakers for those as well but that will be later on. What else am I going to need?

The guy who installs all the speakers in all my cars. He used to own his own shop but it went out of business cuz best buy moved into town. Now he does it out of his garage. He actually helped me pick out the sub I'm getting (which I'm not buying from him, so its not like he's trying to make crazy money off me).

Oh I see. Im sorry to hear about your friend but thats what major corporations do. Put people who work hard for there money out of buisness. I was almost hoping that they'd be a decent speaker manufactuer. I have one and it dosent sound bad but I dont know...Makes me question it now.

It could be because the panell is loose? Or maybe because the scews holding them in? How long have you had them for and do you have any complaints about them?

Yea it pretty much sucks, but you should check out the website "crutchfield". They will match speakers to fit your specific car, and its free shipping, free installation gear, and they have THE BEST customer support EVER!!!!! You actually talk to an american. I have gotten all my speakers from them, and I'm always happy. They also have a 30 day return policy if your not happy with the product. I also got my head units in both my vehicles from there, and I'm getting my sub from there too

Yeah I've really only heard bad things about Pyramid.

If your gonna go with 6 1/2", I'd pay the extra $10 and get these Pioneers:

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130TSG1...3R.html?tp=105

I have the 5 1/4" version of those in my front and they sound really good and get plenty loud.

I'm going to get the same thing in the 6x9" version and cut out part of my hatch to make them fit back there.

I'm also considering getting these to put in my rear cargo area, just not sure if I want to give up my ability to put a lot back there:
